An excellent opportunity has arisen for a top-class International Credit Manager to join a global blue-chip client trading in six continents.
Key Purpose of the Job:
Working in state-of-the-art offices, you will provide a professional credit control service for both customers & the company for off shore markets, ensuring the maximisation of cash flow & minimisation of bad debts.
Needs to Do
1. To manage the customers and*or company receivables, ensuring debt collection in accordance with agreed payment terms and Credit Policy.
2. Risk assessment for new & existing customers.
3. Credit Insurance
4. Credit Held Order management. To assess at regular intervals credit held orders by brands, to ensure that they are being actioned in accordance with Group Policy brands instructions & deadlines and internal despatch guidelines.
5. Monthly full detailed review of all brand*customer performance
6. Monitoring of all customers’ collections via DSO calculation.
7. Coordinate, produce and issue weekly*monthly reports to Group Credit Manager and Group Finance Director. Ensuring integrity of all reports issued internal and external.
8. Management of Accounts placed with solicitors or third party debt collectors
9. Management of insolvent accounts
10. Attending customer and brand meetings. Advance preparation for all meetings ensuring information to be presented is up to date & factual.
Needs to Know
ICM qualified 6 years credit control experience in off shore markets, mainly European, ideally gained with a distribution company who have retail and wholesale customers. Experience of managing and coaching a team, an advantage. Intermediate Excel, Lotus Notes Financial Systems Second European Language, French, German or Italian (preferred). SAP * Oracle experience preferred

In return you will be offered a basic salary of circ £50,000, Bonus (10%), fully expensed car, final salary pension and other benefits.
